May KAL Day 1 & 2

This is our first KAL of May.  The recommended color is:  Peaches N Creme #12 Gold, tan or a pretty pink.  I originally did this is a pink-maroon color.  This won’t do well as a variegated yarn, a solid color is best.

PREVIOUS DAY:
Good Afternoon, sorry for the late start. I sent out info about our KAL a few minutes ago but if you still have questions, feel free to contact me.

Abbreviations:
wyib = With yarn in back
sl 1 = Slip 1 stitch
yo = Yarn Over

Using two colors will require one color of yarn to run along the side of the cloth. This way you will not need to keep cutting the yarn and tying it off. You can do this as long as you don’t knit more than 4 rows with one color and when you end one color and start the other, the switching will need to take place on the side where the other yarn resides. I will state at the beginning what color we are working on so you will know what color will be used for a specific row.

The rows will also be posted on the calendar website. If you are away from home or need access to the rows, feel free to visit www.dishclothcalendar.com

Suggested Peaches N Creme colors (2 color cloth):
(Color A) #9 Navy & (Color B) #184 Shades of Spring
If you are using other colors, your dark color should be color A and the contrast color should be color B
